We could all use some luck . . . maybe even enough to move across the country to get it.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, a new study from Zippa ranked all 50 states from most to least LUCKY.
The rankings are based on factors including the number of big lottery winners . . . median income . . . unemployment rates . . . life expectancy . . . weather-related fatalities . . . and car accident rates.
The 10 luckiest states are: Minnesota . . . New Jersey . . . New Hampshire . . . Massachusetts . . . New York . . . Utah . . . Washington . . . Rhode Island . . . Connecticut . . . and Hawaii.
And the 10 least lucky are: Mississippi . . . Alabama . . . Oklahoma . . . Tennessee . . . New Mexico . . . Arkansas . . . Louisiana . . . Kentucky . . . Nevada . . . and South Carolina.
Iowa comes in at #18, and Wisconsin at #19.
