According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), we’re going all out for dad this year. Americans are going to spend a record $20.1 billion this year — that’s up from last year’s record-breaking $17 billion.
The NRF’s survey found that we plan to spend an average of $174 on gifts for dad – $26 more than last year. 35 – to 44-year-olds will be spending even more – an average of $259 on gifts — $49 more than last year.
