When you tune into Monday Night Football on ESPN this year, something will be missing..Hank Jr.!  ESPN will not be using  “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here On Monday Night” because “it will not resonate for games that will be contested in mainly empty stadiums.”  The bosses at ESPN have not made a decision if the song will return for the 2021 season and beyond.  ABC first used the song to open “Monday Night Football” in ’89. ESPN will use a modern version of the Little Richard song “Rip It Up” instead.

This is the second time ESPN has dropped Bocephus from MNF, in 2011 Hank Jr. made disparaging comments towards President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
