2024 Halloween Fun Guide

Waukon FBLA Haunted Park on Saturday, October 26th at the Waukon City Park. Mild Version from 6:30-7:30 PM, Normal from 7:30-8:30 PM, and the Spicy Version starts at 8:30 PM. Cost is $5.00 for 6 and older. Tickets will be available the nigh of the event at the swimming pool. Free parking. Rain date is Saturday, November 2nd.

Lake Meyer Campground Trunk or Treat is happening Saturday, October 19th from 3-5 PM. Winneshiek County Conservation staff invite you to dress up for an exciting afternoon of trick-or-treating around decorated campsites. No registration is required to attend this free, family-friendly event. Lake Meyer Park and Campground is located at 2546 Lake Meyer Road off Highway 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson.

It’s a Halloween Bash on Friday, October 18th from 5-7 PM at Westby Elementary School. Free admission with costume. Serving Hotdogs & Hamburgers. Music, dancing and fun activities.

It’s the 20th annual Trunk or Treat at Iron Ridge Church in Waukon, IA on Saturday, October 26th from 4-6 PM. Enjoy an evening of candy, and activities, and check out the big tent this year! The theme is Alice in Wonderland!!

Halloween Spooktacular at Iron Hill Powersports in Waukon.  Trunk ‘r Treat, Costume Contest, Pumpkin Painting, and a Free Lunch.  Fun starts at 11:00 AM.

Scare at the Fair- Haunted House at the Houston County Fairgrounds in Caledonia, MN Event will take place at the Horse-barn on October 18, 19, 25 and 26. Lights on is from 6 to 7 PM ($5/Person). Lights off is from 7 to 10 PM ($10/Person). All proceeds go to livestock building projects.

Trunk or Treat at St. Luke’s Church in Eitzen, MN on Sunday, October 27th. Youth of all ages can come and get treats for a Pre-Halloween celebration. Wear your costumes and have fun!

Halloween Party at the Lawler Fire Station on Sunday, October 27th from 4:00-5:00 PM at the Lawler Fire Station.  Join the Lawler Lions Club for Halloween games, fun, and treats.  Town Trick-or-Treating to follow within Lawler.

Halloween party at Decorah Lutheran Church on Thursday, October 31st. Snacks, Games, and Crafts for all ages.

Decorah, IA- TRICK OR TREAT HOURS ON THURSDAY OCTOBER 31, 2024 WILL BE 5:00 P.M.-7:30 P.M.  Visit the trunk or treat in front of City Hall !!

-Aase Haugen residents are excited to invite area children to Trick or Treat at the nursing home on Thursday, October 31 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.  “It really brightens our day to see the little ghost and goblins,” says Andrea Hexom, Aase Haugen Decorah activities supervisor. “Our residents will have pumpkins full of candy to pass out as the children wander through the main dining room and around the hall through Assisted Living to trick or treat with us.”

The children and their escorts should enter through the main entrance of the nursing home where they will be guided to the trick or treat area and end up exiting through the Assisted Living doors. It’s all inside, so come rain or shine!
