Greg calls Spring Grove, MN home and is married to
Jacqueline. Greg is 70% owner of Wennes Communications
Stations. He has three sons and six grandchildren. He
likes flying, golfing, fire trucks, steam engines,
(anything that has an engine) and helping other
people.

CHUCK ALLEN

Chuck Allen was born & raised in N.E. Iowa, minus 4 years in the U.S. Navy. His radio experience began in 1971 and has been involved with KNEI since 1973. Chuck has been married to his wife Max for 42 years they have a son, daughter, & 7 grandchildren. Chuck is
G.M. at KNEI and has worked with Sherry as his morning partner for almost 8 years. The duo presents an upbeat show of music , contests and fun every morning!

I was born & raised on farm in N.E. Iowa. I
graduated from Brown Radio Broadcasting in 1971. I've
worked at WCCI in Savannah, IL, KCRG in Cedar Rapids,
KDEC in Decorah and I'm now GM and part-owner of KVIK
& KNEI. I'm also County Supervisor for Winneshiek
County.
I have a son, Ryan and a daughter, Erica. I love
sports, especially racing (announcing & watching.)
Les & Rhonda in the morning is both entertaining
and informative with great contests and more. Most of
all we like to make you laugh! Keep listening and tell
your friends about us. You guys are the best! Thanks for

Hi! I was raised all over the country, Air Force
brat, and proud of it! I went to High School in
Colorado Springs where I met my husband. He is an Iowa
boy and we ended up here! I have 2 children, Steven is
24; lives in the Twin Cities; Diana is 20; lives in
Cedar Rapids.
My radio experience started at KGCI in Grundy Center
back in the 80’s. I started out working the computer
and eventually became the morning show personality. I
was hooked.
We moved to Decorah in 1994, just as KVIK was
getting ready to go on the air. I started out filling
in for Patty in the mornings, hey, I use to do it for
free!! Eventually, Les started letting me fill in for
him and he gave me my own special time on Tuesday
afternoon!
On March first of 2005 I was promoted to News
Director. That was an exciting day!! So now I come in
at 5:30 every morning and bring you news of the area
along with a little state information. I also play
music for you from 9 until 11 every morning. I enjoy
spending our time together! Thanks for visiting our

PATTY WENNES KOBRIGER

I began my radio career in March of 1993 at KDEC radio, then on to KQYB in December of that year. August 1994 KVIK went on the air and KNEI joined the pack! I presently sell radio ads for KVIK, KNEI & KHPP in Decorah, Spillville, Calmar, Ossian, Frankville, Postville, Monona, Waucoma, West Union, Marquette, Waukon and Lansing so you can say "I get around". I love working with my clients to start and grow their business and have made many great friends throught the years.
I have two great kids - Adam & Trisha who both live and work in the Twin Cities. November, 2009 Karl (Koony) Kobriger and I were married and we live in Decorah during the week and in Harpers Ferry on the weekends!

ARLEEN SOLTOW

Arleen Saltow is a 20+ year veteran of radio
advertising sales, having started her career in Spring
Grove, MN. This early expreience allowed her to start
working for Greg Wennes, and she has happily worked
for him ever since.
At KVIK, she is a sales representative and enjoys
her many special clients. She is honored to promote
the many fine businesses in our community. Every
Wednesday she hosts a live talk show from the Back
Home Bakery. She also does live remotes for special
events and promotions.
She and her husband Neil live in Mabel, MN and have
a full life with their family, work, friends, travel
and golf!
